I’m New!

As you drive up, you’ll notice the church sign also lists the Greater Portland Hispanic Seventh Day Adventist Church. We share the property with them, but don’t worry, you’re in the right place!

Parking is behind the building and the entrance is through the double glass doors on the east side of the building. You’ll likely be greeted by Pastor Roland as he welcomes guests and members alike. Feel free to introduce yourself!

Once inside the lobby, the sanctuary is to your right. If you need to drop off children in the nursery or Junior church or use the restrooms, you’ll want to head down the hallway to the left.

How to Dress: We’re a mix of people—some dress up, others come more casually. There’s no formal dress expectations, we’re just glad you’re here.

Music: Our music is traditional, centered on the timeless hymns of the faith that have been sung by the church for generations.

Bible: You’ll notice we use the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible from the pulpit. We have copies available if you’d like to follow along, but please feel free to use any translation. We’re just glad you have a Bible with you.

Preaching: Each preaching service is unique. We often teach verse by verse through books of the Bible, and at times we focus on specific doctrinal topics. Our goal is simple: to help you grow in your understanding of God’s Word.

Lunch: After the morning service, we share a potluck meal together. This is a great time to connect with and get to know one another. If you didn’t bring anything, that’s okay! There’s always plenty to share.

More services: Following lunch on Sunday, we have a shorter afternoon service, usually beginning about 12:45 p.m.

On Wednesday evenings, we gather for a slightly shorter service, followed by a time of sharing prayer requests and meeting in small groups for prayer. We understand how busy the week can be, and we aim to make this a meaningful and encouraging time together. We are currently meeting in person on the first and third Wednesday of the month. The second and fourth weeks, Pastor preaches live on YouTube.
